Imagine a playgroup where parents and children connect in nature and well being is a priority.

 

Nature Explorers playgroup does just that. 

 

The children and their families are immersed in nature free to explore, wander, collect, climb trees, use hammers and screwdrivers, run and roll down hills. 

 

Our playgroup scaffolds strong connections between children and their families for a positive early childhood learning and development experience. and fosters love of nature and connection with the land in the Northern Rivers Region of NSW.

We have visits from local community members and share a partnership with dune care and Australian Seabird rescue. 

​

The children develop an awareness and environmental consciousness through these associations and a love for their local environment, visiting local areas and discovering their natural backyard playground.

 

At Nature Explorers we embed Indigenous connections and language, through our good morning songs and acknowledgment of country. 

 

Rain, hail or shine our explorers set-off excited and ready for what the morning will bring. 

At Nature Explorers Playgroups we have a shared morning tea, story time and songs to end the session.
